Specialty: RN-Medical Surgical - IMC Travel Job Description Registered nurses in this specialty practice primarily on hospital units and care for adult patients who are acutely ill with a wide variety of medical problems and diseases or are recovering from surgery. Focus opportunities are Neuro-Medical-Respiratory-surgical, post-trauma; Sepsis is the #1 diagnosis. IMC monitoring including ventilator care, EEG observation room, Off Site Telemetry, acute stroke, complex surgeries, seizure disorders. There will be many opportunities for dressing, medication administration (all routes) and monitoring with titratable meds, drainage tubes, focused assessments and nursing interventions Assist physicians with patient management.
