Manage a team of support leads, managers and engineers, responsible for production operations of the data platforms, tools and reporting environments! The Senior Manager, Data Operations will manage enterprise data platforms and work collaboratively across the business and with vendor partners, reporting into the Director of Data Analytics. • Provide operational support for production data pipelines execution and reports, troubleshootthe issues of enterprise data platforms including data warehouses and reporting environments.
• Administer tools and technologies including licensing and working with vendors for support.
• Stakeholder management across business, IT, and core RunOps team members
• Ensure and maintain high customer satisfaction by providing best operational services with timelyand accurate responses
• Collaborating with data architecture, data management, and data domain teams
• Monitor incidents, utilization stats, performance of data pipelines, and service requests,to identify quality improvement opportunities and stability of the platform health.
• Supporting Operational Data Quality (DQ) efforts including DQ checks and providing DQ metricsvia Dashboards/Reports to Data Governance and business community
• Provide regular status reports to management on application status and other metrics.
• Improve all KPIs through ITIL best practices, quality monitoring, and workforce optimization.Profile
  • Hybrid work out of the Chicago Metropolitan Area: -5-10 Days/Month
  • 10+ years of IT experience in data lakes, data warehouses and BI platforms development
  • 5+ years in managing production operations(DataOps experience a plus)
  • 5 years' experience managing technology teams including onshore/offshore vendors
  • Experience in managing production operations of a cloud data platform
  • Experience implementing solutions to derive operational insights, creating operational dashboards and communicating performance metrics to leadership
  • Experience in design, development and operationalization of large-scale enterprise datasolutions on-prem and cloud.
  • GCP experience preferred (Big Query, GCS, Dataflow, Dataproc, Pub/Sub, Kafka, Spark)Job Offer
