Summary: Continuing the mission of the Hospital Sisters of Saint
Francis is the responsibility of all HSHS colleagues, but the
Manager-Mission, Ethics & Spiritual Care helps ensure the
understanding of that. The colleauge in this role works
collaboratively with leaders, colleagues, patients/families,
volunteers and community to advance mission, develop people,
embrace excellence and drive value in the areas of Mission, Ethics
and Spiritual Care. Qualifications: EducationBachelor s degree in
religion, theology, ministry, mission leadership, ethics or a
related field is required.Master s degree in religion, theology,
ministry, mission leadership, ethics or a related field is
preferred. 5 years leadership experience in mission integration,
spiritual care, ethics or related field may be considered in lieu
of degree. ExperienceCompletion of Catholic Health Association
(CHA) Mission Leadership Competencies within one year of hire is
required.Completion of Catholic Health Association (CHA) Catholic
Clinical Ethics Program or its equivalent (e.g. National Catholic
Bioethics Center (NCBC) certificate program, Loyola certificate
program) within two years of hire is required.2 Units of Clinical
Pastoral Education within three years of hire is required.
Certificates, Licenses & RegistrationsCertificated chaplain status
within National Association of Catholic Chaplains (NACC),
Association of Professional Chaplains (APC) or Neshama Association
of Jewish Chaplains (NAJC) is preferred.
