Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is currently seeking a Bombers and Fighters Vehicle Management System (VMS) Software Engineering Manager (Level K) to join the Fixed Wing VMS Software Team located in Berkeley, MO. This position will focus on supporting the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) business organization.This person will be responsible for Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) software for the F-15, F/A-18, T-7A programs within the Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Software Fixed Wing VMS portfolio.This person will develop and execute strategies for developing and maintaining VMS solutions for these Fighter platforms.Position Responsibilities:

• Manages employees performing engineering and technical activities in the area of Vehicle Management Software Engineering
• Develops and executes integrated organizational plans, policies and procedures and guides the development of business and technical strategies, goals, and objectives
• Acquires resources for organizational activities, provides technical management of suppliers and leads process improvements
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners and direct reports
• Provides oversight and approval of technical approaches, products and processes
• Manages, develops and motivates employees
• Position to lead F-15, F/A-18, T-7A VMS software teamThis position allows telecommuting; however, the candidate will be required to work onsite as required by program needs.Security Clearance and Export Control Requirements: This position requires the ability to obtain a Secret US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. Ability to obtain a Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start). Required Qualifications (Required Skills/ Experience):
  • Ability to obtain Secret US Security clearance (Post-Start)
  • Vehicle Management Systems (VMS) experience
  • Program/Project Management experiencePreferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
