Manages a team of IT professionals. Executes operating plan for specific team. Makes decisions on staffing and compensation actions. Develops and implements strategy and vision for the team. Applications require a high level of business or technical knowledge.Job Description: ? Job Responsibilities:* Manages IT projects with significant impact to corporate revenue stream, customer facing functions or critical internal functions. Manages project budgets, timelines, and risks. May assist directors in the development of department budgets/plans.* Coaches, mentors and develops team members through recruitment, hiring, development plans, performance management, career development, training to assure appropriate resources and minimize costs for completion of projects within designated time frames.* Oversees the full project development life cycle of projects or programs, including monitoring of status of systems projects to ensure cost-effective project completion.* Manages outsourced services within project constraints. Supports directors to evaluates vendor performance, needs assessment, spend optimization, and risk management.* Manages internal ongoing second level support of existing applications/infrastructure, while being accountable to the business for overall support and business concerns and issues.* Oversees the development of innovative approaches, processes, products, and services which support the business strategy.Supervisory Responsibilities: i.e. hiring, recommending/approving promotions and pay increases, scheduling, performance reviews, discipline, etc. YesBasic Education and/or Experience Requirements:* Bachelor's degree and at least 5 years IT experience.* At least 2 years of experience in indirect management of team members, including assisting in the development, training and assignment of work/projects to other team members. * At least 3 years of experience in project management.* At least 2 years of experience working with business and technical leadership.Basic Qualifications & Interests:* Experience developing and delivering presentations to various audience levels within an organization. * Knowledge of new technologies and trends in the retail, healthcare and information technology industries.* Experience communicating both verbally and in writing to various audiences.* Experience establishing & maintaining relationships with individuals at all levels of the organization, in the business community & with vendors.This job description is to be used as a guide for accomplishing Company and department objectives, and only covers the primary functions and responsibilities of the position.
