client was founded in Saint Louis in 1889, (and In Humboldt,
Tennessee in 1964). They are a contract manufacturer of quality
metal stampings, fabrications, and assemblies. Our capabilities
include laser cutting, fabricating, stamping, forming, deep
drawing, welding and metal finishing. These capabilities allow us
to produce parts that range from close tolerance internal
transmission parts to very large and heavy, difficult deep drawn
components for a variety of applications. Summary: Operates variety
of machine tools, and fits and assembles parts to fabricate or
repair machine tools and maintain industrial machines. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities: The qualified individual to join our
team will be involved in but not limited to: · Observes and listens
to operating machines or equipment to diagnose machine malfunction
and determine need for adjustment or repair. · Studies blueprints,
sketches, machine parts or specifications to determine type and
dimensions of metal stock required. · Measures, marks, and scribes
dimensions and reference points on metal stock surfaces. ·
Dismantles machine or equipment to examine parts for defect or to
remove defective part. · Replaces defective part with new part or
repairs or reproduces part from various kinds of metal stock. ·
Assembles and test operates machine to verify correction of
malfunction. Maintains and lubricates machine tools and equipment.
· Welds parts. Qualifications: · Minimum of 7 years experience in
heavy press repair. · Ability to drive a forklift when needed. ·
Skilled in the use of machine shop equipment i.e Lathes, Mills,
Grinders, Drill Presses. · Basic electrical knowledge of 3 phase
240 and 280 volt equipment. · Working knowledge of hydraulic and
pneumatic circuits by blue print. Desired Education High school
diploma or general education degree (GED). Attendance to a Trade
School, Apprenticeship Program or College teaching the necessary
disciplines of the job and/or on the job training. Physical Demands

perception, and the ability to adjust focus. · The employee
frequently works in high, precarious places. The employee
occasionally works in outside weather conditions and is
occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles and risk of
