You will participate in process initiatives that ensure compliance with customer requirements, regulatory agencies, government regulations and engineering specifications while instilling site accountability for governance of the Quality System, product acceptance and product quality.--RESPONSIBILITIES:------- Review of technical specifications----- Develop project inspection & test plans----- Review supplier procedures----- Plan, schedule, facilitate pre-inspection meetings----- Identify qualified inspectors through international inspection agencies----- Provide inspection coordination between client and suppliers----- Review inspection reports----- Manage supplier quality issues----- Participate in supplier qualifications & audit----- Review of data books and packages------- Expected 20% travel------- Including:----- Brainstorm solutions----- Continuous improvement----- Coordinate resolution----- Cost improvement analysis------The annual base salary
range for this position is $113000K - $141500K. Please note that this salary

responsibilities of the position, the candidate's work experience, education
and training, key skills, as well as market and business considerations.--MUST HAVE:--------- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics------- EPC Experience in Oil/Gas, Chemical, or Power Plant Projects----- Core domain: Quality Assurance, Quality Control, and/or Inspection experienceWE VALUE:--------- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Material Science----- AWS CWI certification----- Experience with ASME Section VIII, IX, B31.3, AWS D1.1----- Shopfloor manufacturing experience with pressure vessels and heat exchangers----- Shopfloor / Site experience with structural steel and piping fabrication----- Knowledge in AWS--------- Ability to work independently----- Willingness to learn new technologies----- Eagerness to get involved in hands-on work----- Ability to work on multiple projects & communications with International UOP offices based in Asia, US & Europe.--BENEFITS:----Benefits provided may differ by role and location.
