SUMMARY OF MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 
  Time studies to develop demonstrated capacity
  
  
• 
  Lead and implement 5S projects
  
  
• 
  Partner with assemblers and machine operators to create and write standard operating procedures for production and assembly processes
  
  
• 
  Implement safety improvements within manufacturing processes
  
  
• 
  Will be responsible for managing and leading continuous improvement projects, as well as mentoring and coaching all employees on changes
  
  
• 
  Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve both their individual and team contributions to achieve desired business results
  
  
• 
  Perform other duties as assigned by the Quality & Manufacturing Engineering Manager
  
  
  JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  -Current student in Engineering discipline
  -Strong computer skills particularly Microsoft Office applications
  -Demonstrate good oral and written communication skills
  -Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
  -Ability to stand for 2-4 hours at a time.
  -Can lift and move objects up to 35lbs
