The leadership models these values, while also fostering an environment of laughter, comradery, and advancement.Position ResponsibilitiesAssists with various aspects of lighting controls design process including, but not limited to:

• Ability to aid with submittals performed inside the Design Team while understanding the requirements provided involving the following tasks:
• Understanding of technical specifications and BOMs (Bill of Material)
• While working on plan markups, review all plan drawing notes, key notes, legends, details, fixture/load schedules, and other appropriate documentation to form questions for the design lead on anything that does not meet expected design functionality
• Construct a markup of control devices on electrical drawings to represent the intent of the system and the connecting cabling based on BlueBeam tool chests and manufacturers
• Populate load schedules using excel templates and project plan zoning or panel schedules
• Understanding dimming types, electrical circuitry, and plan nomenclature is important for this task
• Ability to self-manage a day of tasks assigned by the Design Manager or Senior Design Engineer and clearly communicating and managing time spent on each project and any areas that might cause unexpected time overageAn understanding of lighting controls designs and how the various devices interact with one another for at least one of the following systems is a plus:
  • Crestron
  • Hubbell
  • Leviton
  • Lutron
  • DaintreeQualified Applicants Will Have:
    • Knowledge of engineering fundamentals
    • Intermediate use of Bluebeam, AutoCAD, MS Excel, etc.
    • The ability to effectively communicate verbally, in written form, and through engineered drawings
    • Works well in cross-functional team environments
    • Possesses an understanding of lighting controls basics
    • Have a minimum of 0-2+ years' experience working within the type of role or setting
    • A desire to learn in an evolving environment
