Job Details Job Details: Our reputable construction firm is seeking a Permanent Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. This position offers an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in the successful execution of complex construction projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in engineering and a proven track record as a general contractor. This role requires a minimum of 2 years of industry experience and offers a competitive remuneration package commensurate with experience and qualifications. Responsibilities: As a Construction Project Engineer, you will be responsible for: 1. Overseeing all engineering and technical aspects of our construction projects to ensure accuracy and quality from conception to completion. 2. Reviewing project plans and proposals, and working with management to develop project objectives, identify project responsibilities and manpower requirements. 3. Applying expert knowledge of construction methods, electrical systems, and health and safety regulations. 4. Coordinating with architects, subcontractors, and field personnel, to resolve any potential design or construction issues. 5. Conducting on-site inspections to ensure that workmanship conforms to specifications and adherence to construction schedules. 6. Preparing, reviewing, and updating project schedules, cost estimates, and other project-related documents. 7. Managing relationships with clients, stakeholders, and local authorities, ensuring satisfaction and adherence to all relevant regulations and quality standards. Qualifications: To be successful in this role, you will need: 1. A bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. 2. A minimum of two years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry. 3 Proficient in interpreting and executing architectural drawings and construction plans. 4. Exceptional project management and supervision skills. 5. Excellent problem-solving abilities and a keen eye for detail. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with team members, clients, and stakeholders. 7. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and project management software. 8. A valid driver's license and the ability to travel as needed to meet project requirements. 9. Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred but not mandatory.
