Bunzl North America is looking for a Relief Receptionist for our corporate office to provide an inviting sense of arrival and create a great first impression to our guests. We are looking for a dynamic individual who loves to multi-task and enjoys being the face of the company. This is a regular temporary position that provides ongoing relief coverage to ensure consistent administrative support. The schedule will vary based on business needs . This position is fully onsite. The Relief Receptionist will primarily cover scheduled vacations—with advanced notice provided—and occasional last?minute sick?day coverage. Typical hours for coverage are 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. with a one-hour lunch break, though hours may vary depending on the coverage requirement. All days will be during the week. No weekends. Responsibilities Greet incoming guests in a professional manner Maintain the visitor log and badges Answer incoming calls on a multi-telephone line system and route calls Provide administrative support/duties to Leadership Team members Maintain snacks in the breakroom Receive mail and packages daily Create Fed Ex and UPS labels as needed through online account and reconcile billing Act as the administrator for the Meeting Room calendar, reserve rooms as needed Assist with meetings and events including food orders, making copies of the presentations, name badges, etc. Other projects as requested Requirements: High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years of customer service experience Prior experience as a receptionist or administrative assistant preferred Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and remain flexible to change Strong writing and verbal communication skills Solid decision-making skills Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Professional appearance with a positive, friendly demeanor Ability to exercise discretion and confidentiality Preferred Skills Prior experience working in a corporate office environment Prior experience working with a switchboard telephone system Bunzl North America is a global leader in the Cleaning & Hygiene, Food Processing, Grocery, Health Care, Non?Food Retail, and Safety industries.
