We were also recognized by the St. Louis Post Dispatch as one of the area's Top Work Places.OverviewLearn about business and accounting, provide basic accounting and bookkeeping support as directedDuties/Responsibilities:Learn about all Utilitra and customer entitiesLearn about business accounting functionsAssist with bank reconciliationsAssist with accounts payable or receivable functionsCreate, edit, or update spreadsheetsProvide administrative or clerical supportElectronic filing, scanning, or indexing as requestedOther duties as assignedCross-train in all facets of the Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time.The person in this role will uphold the culture of Utilitra, including relationship building with customers as well as general behavior on Utilitra or client premises or at Utilitra-sponsored events.Requirements/QualificationsAccounting classes at the college level; working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting or BusinessStrong analytical skills; reasoning and problem-solving abilityStrong organizational skills and ability to effectively deal with highly detailed workProficiency in MS Word and ExcelKnowledge of Vista by Viewpoint beneficial, but not expectedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsMust be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.Utilitra is committed to building and sustaining an equitable and inclusive work environment where diversity is expected and valued.
